Significant characters die in cartoons 2.5 times more than in adult dramas

A study led by researcher, Ian Colman, an associate professor of epidemiology at the University of Ottawa, published in the special Christmas edition of the BMJ has found that significant characters in kids’ animated cartoon films are 2.5 times more likely to die than those in adult dramas.
